“Happiness depends upon ourselves.”
- Aristotle
Happiness is not a destination, it is a journey. And who better to remind us of this than Aristotle, the philosopher who believed that our well-being depends entirely on ourselves. It's not enough to wait for our circumstances to change or for others to make us happy. Happiness is a creative act, one that requires inspiration and imagination. If you can conceive of a joyful life, you can create it. But how do we find the inspiration to imagine such a life? It starts with hope - hope that we can and will achieve our dreams. With this hope comes the motivation to take the necessary steps towards our happiness. And that, my friends, is where true joy lies - not in the destination, but in the journey itself.
