“The difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping from old ones.” - John Maynard Keynes

One of the most prolific economists of the 20th century, John Maynard Keynes, once said that the difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas but in escaping from old ones. This quote is often used to encourage creativity and thinking outside the box. And it's true - sometimes, the hardest part about coming up with new ideas is breaking free from the old ones. We get comfortable with what we know, and it can be difficult to let go of those preconceived notions. But if we want to progress and create something new truly, we need to be open to change. We need to be willing to let go of the familiar and venture into the unknown. So next time you're feeling stuck, remember that the key to creativity is often just a matter of perspective. If you can imagine it, it can be created. All it takes is a little bit of courage and an open mind.
