“The society based on production is only productive, not creative.”
– Albert Camus
Albert Camus was right; societies often become beholden to conformity instead of creativity. It is too easy to get stuck in a rut if all that is important is productivity. But if you can take the time to imagine something that does not exist, there’s a good chance that it can be created! Albert Camus was an icon of creativity, risking the status quo in his writing, thinking, and living. We may all benefit from exploring our own ideas, originality, and expressiveness if we take Albert Camus’ wisdom on how to get more out of life -- if we can imagine it, then it can be created. Let’s follow in his footsteps by taking the opportunity to break free from conventions and dare to create.
