"To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it." -- Kurt Vonnegut
"To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it." These words of wisdom from Kurt Vonnegut have always stuck with me. No matter what you're going through in life, if you can take the time to be creative, it will help your soul to grow. For me, creativity is a form of self-care. It's a way to release emotions, connect with my inner thoughts and feelings, and tap into my imagination. When I'm feeling low, creating something new always makes me feel better. It doesn't matter if it's designing a new SVG, crocheting/knitting, cooking/baking, or just a doodle on my iPad--if I can imagine it, I can create it. And in the process, I always find a little bit of magic and motivation that I didn't have before. So if you're looking for a way to make your soul grow, why not start by being creative? You might just surprise yourself with what you're capable of.
