“It’s no use going back to yesterday, because I was a different person then.”
- Lewis Carroll
Lewis Carroll's quote may seem like a warning against looking back, but in reality, it's a gentle reminder of growth. Every triumph and tribulation has moulded us into the person we are today. Sure, we may have made mistakes, taken wrong turns or wished for a do-over, but we shouldn't focus on what we can't change. What we can do instead is reflect on our past selves and acknowledge how far we have come. Use your experiences as a roadmap to where you want to be. Embrace new opportunities and don't be afraid to try something different. Life is a journey, and while we can't alter our past, we can certainly shape our future.
