Genius is no more than childhood recaptured at will, childhood equipped now with man’s physical means to express itself, and with the analytical mind that enables it to bring order into the sum of experience, involuntarily amassed.”
- Charles Baudelaire
Baudelaire's quote is often misinterpreted; people see "genius" and assume that it's a rare gift that only a few possess. But if you look closer, you'll see that what Baudelaire is really saying is that genius is simply the ability to recapture childhood imagination. And if you can imagine something, doesn't that mean you have the power to create it? So if you want to be a genius, all you have to do is hold onto your childhood sense of wonder and use your adult skills to make your vision a reality. So go out there and be brilliant!
